Having a team with a diversity of culture, communication and approaches to problem solving is a huge strength for project teams.
Personally I do not like making mistakes because I do not like wasting effort and having to redo work . However I know that some times despite best intentions decisions that have been made turn out not to be the best and mistakes happen.
There is no such thing as an “IT Project”. Projects add value to business, therefore need to focus on business strategy, processes and culture.
The leadership discussion is about desired leadership vs. undesired leadership attributes. It is not about leaders vs managers vs bosses.
There are no small projects, only small project managers. An experienced and skilled PM should be able to apply themselves to any size project equally well.
